Housing advice. Relatively few law firms have Contracts with the Legal Services Commission allowing them to provide housing advice. We can give you a list which will include a couple of private sector agencies that also provide advice.
Welfare benefits. The same factors apply. Although we can give some general advice if benefit issues arise following, say, a divorce or separation, we do not have the resources to provide detailed advice on such matters.
Information technology. For large commercial practices, this is a growth area. We have found that demand for such advice in the south east corner of Sussex does not warrant the investment we would have to make (for the moment, at least).
International law. If we continue to move closer to Europe, it may be that we have to acquire skills to enable us to advise on European matters. For the time being, were happier concentrating on keeping up to date with the English legal system
With four offices and about sixty people working within the firm, we reckon we can provide a fairly comprehensive legal service for the residents of 1066 Country and beyond.
