Family law is concerned with the legal consequences of human relationships. Marriage, parenting, adoption and co-habitation are the relationships which most concern people but there are others that can give rise to legal questions. Here at Heringtons our family lawyers are used to dealing with accountants, child psychiatrists, foreign law issues, pensions and other complex areas.

We have a strong team of qualified lawyers; solicitors who have particular areas of expertise in children law and family law and qualified legal executives with similar accreditations. When it comes to dealing with children we have expertise in disputes between parents and grandparents, child abduction and adoption. In public law cases where Social Services are involved, we act for parents, local authorities and guardians.

We recognise the need to match each client with the lawyer who has the right expertise to advise them fully and we have the benefit of good professional links with other professions including accountants, psychiatrists, psychologists and barristers.
