Richard has been practising law locally for 20 years and has always specialised in civil dispute resolution. His experience has given him an in-depth knowledge of civil law and procedure which is supplemented by a very practical and pragmatic solution based approach. 

Richard thrives on knotty problems to solve and enjoys helping his clients to achieve success whether in court or through mediation.

He recognises that for many people contemplating instructing a solicitor can itself be a cause of great anxiety. A relaxed and friendly attitude coupled with accurate and timely cost estimates go a long way to setting troubled minds.

Richard is the Honorary Secretary of the Hastings & District Law Society, he supports Rye's Chamber of Commerce and attend Rye's BNI core group. He has a young family but occasionally snatches a few moments to enjoy sailing dinghies at Bewl Valley, camping, the theatre and literature.
