Litigation, sometimes referred to as a "Lawsuit", is a civil
action brought before a court.
In this action, usually in a County Court or High Court, a “Claimant” seeks a remedy,
perhaps damages or injuries suffered, or the return of goods, an injunction or
a declaration from the court as to, for example, ownership of the extent of a legal
interest.
We all hope to avoid conflicts and disputes in our personal and business lives, but
sometimes we need to take action to defend or protect ourselves. At Heringtons we
recognise that at times like this you need an experienced lawyer who will have insight
into your personal or business needs and at the same time give value for money.
At Heringtons we have a team of dedicated specialist Lawyers so whether you need
our help or advice with a road traffic accident, personal injury, a contract dispute,
landlord and tenant issues (long leases, assured shorthold tenancies, any kind of
rental agreement or license or disputes between landlords and tenants), trespass to
your land, boundary or neighbour disputes, family disputes, arguments over wills,
property disputes, employment law or Mental Health issues.
