Charlotte Hustwayte

Charlotte Hustwayte

Trainee Solicitor

Charlotte is enthusiastic in helping families when a dispute arises which effects children.  She regularly assists recently separated parents to negotiate their way to agreeing the best arrangement for their children during the most difficult of times.  Charlotte is often the voice of reason during times when emotions are heightened and always focuses on the best interests of the children involved.

Charlotte's colleagues say she is a confident individual who is determined to get the best outcome for the families she helps.

Charlotte obtained an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Brighton where she studied Law with Business.  She particularly enjoyed learning about court processes and taking part in practice moots and negotiations. Charlotte is currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Litigation department and assists with family matters as well as general litigation such as debt recovery, building and boundary disputes and landlord and tenant disputes. Charlotte enjoys meeting with clients and being able to build a rapport with them.

Charlotte is an "Ask Me" Ambassador for the Womens Aid charity, and as such is trained to respond to disclosures of domestic abuse and knows where to signpost people for help and support.

Outside work Charlotte enjoys spending time with friends and family and walking her two dogs in the countryside.

Clients say of Charlotte:

  •  “Thank you for everything you had done - we all very grateful and happy with the outcome."  (June 2016)
  •  "Charlotte was a great help at Court. She is very level headed and I think she will make a good solicitor in the future.” (August 2015)
