Private Client Solicitor
Profile & expertise:
Joining Heringtons’ Rye office in October 2018, Fran specialises in estate administration, Will drafting, Powers of Attorney, trusts, taxation and Court of Protection work.
Fran qualified as a Solicitor in July 2018 at a firm in Ashford in Kent, but has over 10 years’ pre-qualification experience, having previously worked as a Legal Secretary and later as a Paralegal both in London and Kent. She completed a BSc (Hons) QLD in Law and Psychology at the University of Kent in 2014, and later undertook her LPC at The University of Law in Bloomsbury.
Fran has a particular interest in estate planning (including Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney), using her analytical approach to ensure that her clients are prepared for the future.
In 2019, Fran is hoping to start her examinations with the highly regarded Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), as well as obtaining recognition with Solicitors for the Elderly.
Outside the office:
Fran spends as much time as possible with her horses Lincoln and Odessa. Lincoln in particular is apparently rather fond of his outings to the local country pub, especially if there are children offering him stray carrots!
Away from the stables, Fran regularly enjoys playing netball and badminton, as well as photography and cooking.
