Malcolm Haddow

Malcolm Haddow

Litigation Solicitor

Malcolm qualified as a solicitor in 2005 having undertaken training in London.  He returned to his native Sussex in 2006 and has worked for niche practices and top 100 firms.  He has had experience dealing with claims of all levels both nationally and internationally.  He has experience in a variety of different civil areas and has worked with insolvency practitioners, transport firms as well as with a local auction house implementing a government contract.

Malcolm has the reputation of having a can do attitude and adapting to situations presented before him.  He has worked on all types of Civil Litigation including Landlord & Tenant, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Consumer Disputes and debt recovery matters.  He has assisted clients with actions ranging from contract enforcement, landlord & tenant advice, through to claims against national banks.  Malcolm also has extensive experience assisting and representing transport companies before the Traffic Commissioner for England & Wales.

Malcolm is fully conscious that litigation carries costs and emotional burdens to most clients and knows the benefits of mediation, alternative dispute resolution and funding arrangements.  Malcolm is always keen to assist his clients in proactively reaching a solution, whether through the courts, negotiation or mediation, whilst keeping them updated as to costs.

Outside of work Malcolm is often found underneath his classic cars carrying out repairs or enjoying the company of the Hastings tabletop gaming group; where he plays regularly and has represented in tournaments.

In addition to being a qualified solicitor, Malcolm carries qualifications as an National and International CPC Transport Manager.
